What's Happening - and a recipe

Well, after a tiny break where we were upgrading our various water bottle labels and cupcake toppers to the new format you saw in our previous post, now we're moving on to new things. Look forward to some Sleepy Sheep clip art, coming soon. :D

Until then, here's something to keep you happy for a little while. I know it keeps us happy, especially my DH as this is one of his favorite desserts. He nibbles at it all the time: Bunny Bark.  Check the recipe below.

Bunny Bark

14 whole Golden Oreos, broken up
1 1/2 C pretzels, broken into pieces
1 lb. white chocolate candy melts found in the bulk food section
1 C Easter candy mix (I enjoy M&M eggs and pastel Easter candy corn)

(We love this recipe so much that I often double the Oreos and pretzels.)

Cover a large cookie sheet with wax paper.Place white chocolate in a container and microwave for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir and then microwave for another 30 seconds until melted and smooth. (Be careful, white chocolate melts faster and burns easier than regular chocolate.)

Place broken pretzels, Oreos and 3/4ths of the candy into a large bowl. Drizzle melted chocolate over the mixture. Spread out onto the wax paper covered cookie sheet then sprinkle with remaining candy.

Place cookie sheet into refrigerator until set and firm. Remove and gently break bark into small pieces. Store in air tight container.
